In one of the episodes, I mentioned building a tribe, your list, your traffic. But today I wanna talk about how eventually it can lead on to a sustainable business model because building a tribe is important, building this whole community is important but then whether are you sustainable? Building traffic

Purpose of building a tribe

But if you really want to take this as a business, listen to me this is serious. Building a sustainable business model especially if you have a tribe is to really focus like I said, on traffic and building up your list. 02:45 - 02:51 This means you need to continuously do marketing. You need to continuously show up and be visible. 02:52 - 03:00 Podcasting or live streaming are just some of the strategies, or blogging are just some of the strategies that you can get yourself visible. 03:02 - 03:21  I would advocate now pushing more on the podcasting piece because really, it can help someone to go beyond just a shore of Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, beyond that to create new connections.

05:22 - 05:57 So one of the business models I like to introduce to you is one of the models that we have used in Soul Rich Woman which is the subscription business model. It’s 12 dollars a month or 99 dollars a year. Well, the price may increase we don’t know yet but as of now at this point at the recording that’s 12 dollars a month or 99 dollars a year. And this is not a number I plant from the sky. This is a number after traveling to Southeast Asia and I look at the women on the ground, they are working, they have a salary. 06:10 - 06:14 Really their salary in Southeast Asia really is not that high. 06:24 - 06:43 So after comparing and contrasting I decided on the magic number 12 and 99. And then you know, love our customers first and not love our products first. Can you see that? I’m literally building a product for my customers. Looking at their salary range. Looking at what they are doing. What do they need?
